Care & Cleaning

Routine Cleaning

Use warm water and a mild household dish soap.

Lightly scrub using a soft-bristle brush.

Rinse loose debris first with a standard garden hose.

Avoid abrasive pads, scouring tools, or harsh cleaning agents.

No specialized cleaners or equipment are required for routine maintenance.

✓ Dirt & Debris: Rinse with a hose, scrub with warm soapy water and a soft brush.

✓ Mineral Deposits (Hard Water Stains): Mix equal parts white vinegar and water. Spray or apply with a soft cloth. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes for stubborn deposits, then wipe clean.

✓ Oil, Grease, and Food Stains: Clean spills as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days. Rinse with a hose, then clean with warm, soapy water and gently scrub with a soft brush to remove any residue.

✓ Mold & Mildew: Prevent buildup by removing pollen, dirt, and organic material regularly. Clean with mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush to remove any growth.

Perform annual inspections of exterior surfaces for potential damage.

Check for any surface wear, scratches, or mechanical damage.

In cases of heavier wear or surface damage, the affected area may be lightly sanded and refinished using the base primer and color coating layer.

Surfaces exposed to standing water or moisture accumulation should be properly sealed using Novano-approved coating systems.

Refinishing is primarily recommended for aesthetic reasons, not structural performance.

Always use only Novano-approved primer and coating products. These authorized surface treatments ensure full compatibility with Novano materials.

Areas exposed to frequent water spray, such as roof overhangs, façade edges, or drainage zones, may benefit from additional sealing using the Novano-approved color coat system. This added protection helps reduce localized staining and surface buildup over time.

These high-exposure surfaces should be sealed or periodically recoated using the Novano-approved color coat system to maintain optimal appearance and protection.

Do not burn Novano products. Combustion may release harmful gases.

Always store products flat, fully covered, and in dry, ventilated conditions prior to installation.

Avoid strong acidic, chlorinated, bleach-based, or solvent cleaners.

Novano products are fully recyclable and environmentally responsible at end-of-life.

Do not use high-pressure washers directly on Novano surfaces.
